Second Quarter 2019 Luncheon

The New Orleans Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is happy to announce its second quarterly luncheon of 2019.

Topic: “FBI Public Corruption in Louisiana”

Time: Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.; lunch and presentation begin at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.

Place: Landry’s Seafood House, 8000 Lakeshore Dr., New Orleans, LA
Parking: Free parking at the restaurant.

The last day to register online is Friday, June 14th at 5 pm. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event with cash payment.

Entrées- Choose One:
Chicken – with a mushroom cream sauce, dirty rice and seasonal vegetables
Fish – broiled tilapia, lump blue crab, mushrooms, white wine cream sauce, dirty rice and creole green beans
Red Beans & Rice – with andouille sausage and fried fish

About the Speakers:
Hannah Buch is a Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) of a Public Corruption squad in FBI-New Orleans Division. SSA Buch joined the FBI in 2005 after graduating from Tulane Law School. Hannah was initially stationed in New York City, where she worked counterterrorism matters and then public corruption. In 2016, she was promoted to a position at FBI Headquarters in Washington DC, where she helped oversee all domestic terrorism investigations in the United States. In late 2018, Buch accepted a promotion to New Orleans, where she supervises a squad of personnel tasked with investigating public corruption.

Vanessa Tibbits is a Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) of a Public Corruption squad in FBI-New Orleans Division. SSA Tibbits was born in New Orleans and was raised in the Washington, DC area. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages from Princeton University. SSA Tibbits began her FBI career in New York post 9/11 in 2005 working Counterterrorism matters. Prior to becoming an SSA in New Orleans, she spent 2 1/2 years in the National Covert Operations Section at FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC, as an SSA in the Criminal Covert Operations Unit and then as the Unit Chief of the Covert Backstopping Unit.
