First Luncheon of 2017!

“Identifying the BS and Determining Whether Actions are Ethical”

Speaker:  Eric Palmer, CIA, CISA, CFE, CRISC; Director of Internal Audit, East Jefferson General Hospital

About the speaker:  Mr. Palmer is a CIA, CISA, CFE, CRISC, and a self-described “all-around know-it-all.”   In his role at East Jefferson General Hospital, he manages financial, operational and IT audits in an attempt to help keep everyone out of trouble.  He previously managed and conducted audits at a major credit card processor, the City of Atlanta, and the State of Georgia.  He also writes exam questions for the CIA and CISA, so he states that he “convinces himself that he is usually right (even when he isn’t).”  Mr. Palmer graduated from both Louisiana Tech and Tulane, has a small family, and tries to be politically correct by owning both a cat and a dog.
